Upgrading your house and other properties is a staple feature of any life and farming simulation game. And Stairway Games’ new IP, Coral Island, is no exception. It is even better as it takes these features a few steps further by adding nuances like character bonding, exclusive cutscenes, and interactions you get every time you upgrade your house or other buildings in Coral Island. How To Upgrade House And Other Buildings In Coral Island

To upgrade your house and other building in Coral Island, you must complete the Home Sweet Home quest. Once that is done, you can visit the Carpenter shop from 9:00 AM to 17:00 PM and talk to Dinda at the counter to access the Shop option, which includes upgrading your house, buying new furniture and other similar stuff, buying and upgrading new buildings like Barn, Coop, and others.  

Now talking about the Home Sweet Home quest. It is the main quest you receive from the carpenter duo, Joko and Dinda after Mayor Connor introduces you to the two for the first time. You can access your Journal by pressing the J key on your keyboard. You can select the Home Sweet Home quest and Track it by clicking on the right mouse. Once you do that, the quest will appear on the left side of the game screen. Now, complete the objectives, which in this case are:

You can use the Axe Tool given by Connor to cut down trees and fallen branches to gather the required amount of Wood. Meanwhile, you can use the Pickaxe tool to break down more enormous rocks to obtain twenty Stones. 

Once that is done, go to the Carpenter shop, talk to Dinda, and enter the Shop menu. Click on Upgrade House to finally upgrade your house. You can use the same menu to acquire new buildings, upgrade them, and do other things. 

How To Unlock New Buildings In Coral Island

You can unlock new buildings like Barns, Coop, Mills, Well, and others by gathering the required materials in their blueprint and then buying the Blueprint from Dinda at the Carpenter shop using the in-game currency.
