He began his television career in 1991 with the Danish children’s programme Hvaffor en Hnd? His on-screen energy was also well-known, as was Christensen’s physicality off screen. In recent years, Christensen has toned down his outlandish look and shifted his focus away from comedy and towards more serious work. Casper made his radio debut with the show Kongen af Danmark (The King of Denmark), which aired on the Danish radio station TV 2 Radio on the first of February 2007. Casper Christensen soon departed TV2 Radio and started writing for the fifth and sixth seasons of Klovn alongside his long-time colleague Frank Hvam, which aired on the Danish television network.
